Cream wont cure my spots what will.?

im white british and im 16 ever since i was 12 iv had spots its defo not acne i have a few on me side on me head near my eyes and that and iv bin using clean and clear blackhead and spots but its making my face reali dry help!!!Cream wont cure my spots what will.?
get a routine of cleansing and try not to touch pick them , your age is a factor to with all those hormones swimming around.Cream wont cure my spots what will.?
Unfortunately you're at the age where this is going to happen, and its very difficult to get rid of.

Your doing the right thing using products for skin prone to spots like clean and clear, but keeping your face really dry isnt good. You have to find a balance as you don't want dry skin which cracks, as this will make the problem worse.

You could try getting a bottle of Witch-hazel from your chemist or supermarket. Its really cheap (only about 拢1) and is natural. I used it when i was in my teenage spotty phase and it really helped, and didnt sting the way these chemical soaps can. As well as that use a little non-greasy moisturiser to keep your skin moisturised but not greasy.

Other than that you just need to wait til you mature, it will gradually fade away. You can also speak to your doctor about it incase you do have acne. There are alot of things you can try to clear up your skin if its bad. Such as medications and certain types of the contraceptive pill (sorry i don't know whether you're a girl or not!). But try the simple things first, then maybe speak to your GP.

Good Luck x

Edit: Lb - please tell us all what your qualifications are to give such advise and suggest that we are all wrong. Products such as clearasil and clean and clear are not perfect, but they beat soap and water for treating greasy skin. Also, I would never suggest someone using a contraceptive pill for a few spots......please read all comments before posting.
you're in puberty, honey - I guess it's mainly the hormones that causes them.

still, there are some things you can do:

1. watch what you're eating! sweets, sweetened soft drinks, fast food and fatty food cause break outs. cause all that crap has to get out somewhere...

btw, that is also true for alcohol and nicotine - don't party all the time, this will show in your skin.

2. go either to a beauty parlour or to a dermatologist and let them tell you what exactly your skin type is. and then get the right products for your skin. cause the wrong products also cause break outs.

3. when you have the right products, get a washing routine and never leave it behind. thorough cleaning and using the right cream will not only keep your skin clear, but they will also help your skin against wrinkles. the better you watch your skin, the less wrinkles you get.

good luck!
use anything with salycilic acid in it! its brilliant!

if you can, order ';proactive solution';. its AMAZING! and you notice the difference after one application!

its quite expensive, but lasts a long time, and stops you spending money trying different things all the time!

good luck!!!

ps...im 19 and just coming out of my spotty stage. i think its similar with most people! started getting spots when i was 11. so not long to go now!

STOP USING CLEAN %26amp; CLEAR %26amp; ANY CLEARASIL PRODUCTS. bad advice above!

It containts harmful alcohol which burns the skin %26amp; won't, in the longterm cure your spots. Try using natural tea tree oil. Or tea tree skin wash. Australian Bodycare are the best %26amp; you can buy it off of Ebay for 拢5-10.

DON'T use foundation, it contacts Talc %26amp; oils which will block pores. You are better with a tinted moisturiser if you wish to wear any makeup. Boots No7.. Perfect.

I've had bad skin since i was 12 aswell. I'm 19 now %26amp; I've always used ABc. I love it. %26amp; my skin is great:)

%26amp; the contraceptive pill is not the option for a few spots. it only helps with acne.
DO NOT USE CLEAN AND CLEAR!

try Panoxyl it costs about 6pounds from your local pharmacy it has Benzoyl Peroxide 5% wich is a steroid so please use sparingly, you can also get a roll on from your doctor thats good or maybe some antibiotics
Keep using clean and clear.....it should help it just takes time

also...use moisturizer right after you wash your face (Eucerin is great)

You can use foundation or cover up to hide your spots until it gets better

=))) Hope this workks
