Hi There

I am a Make-Up artist and often get asked this question.

The best thing you can do is stop stripping all of the oil from your skin with harsh products.

When harsh 'spot' products are constantly used the skin produces even more oil to compensate. This means that your skin becomes parched and dry some areas and spotty in others. A total nightmare!

I would say use a gentle face wash as cleansers sometimes leave a residue. Always moisturise, even if your skin is oily. You can buy some really good oil-free moisturisers.

Twice a week you should gently exfoliate your skin, this takes off the dead skin cells..unclogging your pores.

Also, try and give your skin a break from wearing make up and make sure you take off your make up each night.

Hope this helpsSpots, pleeeeeeeeeease help!?
skin lightener from proactive, it cost around 25.00
it may be rosacea. You may need to see a dermatologist. Retin-A works great!!
proactive
Hey babes im from the caribbean and wen i came to england my exema and acne flared up. i went bk home after 7 years sat on the beach for a whiled then i noticed how all my spots pratically cleared up. ive been on 6 pills a day which kinda worked for a while but the sun was marvellous even cleared up quite a few marks. i say get some uv treatment ( excuse for th sun beds) or go on holiday and show a bit of skin for a couple of days
If you are a person with a darker or warmer complexion this happens often. There is this new cream which helps lighten spots on the face. It's called Ambi Skincare Fade Cream and it runs about $4. They come in dry, normal and oily because not all skins are the same, so everything does not work on all skintypes. I hope this helps.

I'd try being more laid back about it. Stressing yourself out won't help.

Lots of things can cause acne - diet, skincare products etc. try cutting various things out of your regime and see if it helps, but above all dont worry about it. I had 'teenage spots' well into my twenties.
hi

I would advice you to try some home based remedies for skin ,hair and weight problems, this link has some good information it sure did help me so here goes,

good luck
Have you tired a dermatologist, that would be a very good place to start. They specialize in skin and skin disorders and could probably give you something to clear it right up Good luck
The best method for getting rid of spots, in fact the best thing for skin full stop is Oil Cleansing Method (OCM) - this is where you use oil to cleanse your skin.

Most people start with a 50:50 mix of Extra Virgin Olive Oil : Castor Oil, EVOO is moisturizing where as Castor Oil is cleansing 鈥?some people will use other oils (I personally use nothing but Jojoba oil) and will change the mix to perhaps 75:25 or 25:75 depending on their skin type (i.e. if your skin is dry you would use more EVOO to moisturize), and some will also add essential oils such as lavender or tea tree oil (both help prevent and treat spots) 鈥?one advantage of OCM is that it is totally customisable so if your skin type changes, as it does very often, you can change the mix to suit your skin.

You put the oil onto your face, then take a facecloth that has been into hot water and rung out and put the facecloth onto your face, leave the facecloth on your face for a minute so it is similar to steaming your face to open up your pores, then wipe off the oil 鈥?follow with a toner such as Rosewater to help clean off any small excess oil and tighten your pores after they have been opened by the heat of the facecloth.

Reason it works is because it does not strip your skin of it's natural oils 鈥?when you wash your face with washes or soap it strips the natural oils that help keep your skin healthy and help keep your pores clean, so your skin is not only not as healthy as it should be but your skin also produces a load more oil to make up for all it has lost.

Reason for OCM being so good is not only is it VERY good for your skin, but it is also very customisable, cheap, easy to get a hold of, easy to use, does not support animal testing (as many commercial products do) and does not contain a load of toxic chemicals (as many commercial products do).

If you have a look at the following links;

http://www.purehenry.com/ocm.htm

http://community.livejournal.com/natural鈥?/a>

Moisturising is very important no matter what, other skin-care musts are exfoliation to get rid of dead skin cells, steaming to deep clean the pores (not needed if you use OCM) and vinegar 鈥?this is a cheap alternative to a lot of skin care products, essentially it helps your skin to get rid of dead skin cells that may remain on your skin and clog up pores. Diet with plenty of water and fresh fruit and veg, and avoiding things like smoking, exposure to UV, pollution and avoiding hormonal birth control will help your skin condition a lot as well.

Consult a dermatologist, or if you can also go to a natural healer - yes seriously, many dermatologists are about as good as GP's in that they can be ignorant of even the most basic of solutions, also they can fail to take into account larger problems, a natural healer or doctor will address your health as a whole to see if there are any issues such as hormonal imbalance, digestive problems or problems in your diet that may be effecting your skin.
