White spots on skin??

I have some white spots on the lower part of my leg...its like a patch of them and it the only place on my body that have them...What could it be? Will it ever go away?White spots on skin??
My bet would be on vitilago. here is an excerpt on it. ';Vitiligo or Leukoderma is a skin disease characterized by the loss of the melanic pigment producing cells on the skin, that is the loss of melanocytes. Therefore, the patient has acromic areas or white spots where the absence of these cells is noticed on practicing a biopsy. The patient progressively loses the skin麓s color and white spots appear on the face, extremities and genital region. Most of the persons show first depigmentation in hands and later on the face. These spots grow slowly from these sites and they can expand throughout the body. The person looks like an albin: absence of pigment on the body skin, eyebrows, eyelashes and hair.The disease is located only on the skin, due to the absence of a cell: the melanocyte, the rest of cells that conform skin do not disappear or alter, only the cell that produces the pigment and since the pigment is the one that stains the skin, there is no color.';

My younger brother has vitiligo and has had it since he was 5 years old. Vitiligo is a stress related disease, and in the United States there is no cure. There is a cure, however, if you are willing to travel to Cuba. A clinic located in Havana has discovered a cure for this disease with controversial materials; mainly 50% alcohol extract of Human Placenta. This is why the medicine is not accepted in the North American Medical Communtiy.

My family, while on vacation a few years ago, in Varadero were informed about this treatment who mistakenly thought we were in Cuba specifically for treatment. Since then my brother returns every two years and purchases a two year supply of this lotion. It has greatly improved his skin, which at one point was almost completely white as a result of vitiligo.

I praise the doctors every day for giving my brother a chance at a normal life, away from the laughter and snide comments of his peers. He is not yet cured, however he has gone from having 80% of his body covered, to only 35% in 3 years. Unfortunately we did not think to take any photos of his skin before we started the treatment, however if you are interested I have a few specific photos that can show the progress of his skin in the last few years. My yahoo email is Dutch_Princess_Kirsty@yahoo.ca I hope this information is useful to you.White spots on skin??
actually it is from being in front of the sun too long and once you have them i dont think it will go away un less you spend less time in front of the sun
Maybe it's hyper pigmentation, check with a doctor.
it could be vitiligo, a skin condition that does not go away. My aunt has it everywhere. I would get it diagnosed just in case. I don't know much about it except for that information, but i would also research it through a reliable source, such as webmd.
probably vitiligo. i have it.

ifyou have questions, email me ill be glad you help ifyou describe it
Cancer.
if u go to solarium and u lie on those beds and if they hav not been cleaned properly b4 u lay on them its from that. or it could be akstma. dont know how u spell it but its a skin condition if u dont get enough of nutrients in ur body.
