Boil-like spots?

The past week, i keep getting these boil-like spots. not like pimples. But they hurt and take forever to go. Its not like i can squeeze them or anything. I dont understand why. I havent used anything different on my face. I changed my pill about two months to dianette which are meant to help my skin better, do you think it could be that? get worse before get better? What should i do to make them go down quicker i have a party on friday!! help!!Boil-like spots?
Since it's on your face...are they hard and painful if you press on them and show no white head? These are called blind zits, or cystic acne for the technical term. They actually never go away unless you take certain products for them...I don't know what those products are unfortunately, sorry. I get blind zits once in a while and the only way I can get rid of them is by waiting about a week after they appear, hold a hot compress on them and poke the center with a very fine, sharp needle and squeeze. Only a couple times have I scarred my face from doing this, but it's not a pit-like scar...just a dark spot that can be successfully covered with make-up. The other times I have gotten rid of them this way without scarrring. You just have to know when to pop and how much you can pop. This is a common problem people have with pimples..they think that if you pop them you'll scar, but you don't. If you do not pop a pimple or blind zit or if you over pop, THEN you will scar. So if you do try to get rid of it with a needle, don't try and squeeze it if there's blood coming out, because it may leave a mark, small though. So put a hot compress on it and try the next week.

Cystic acne is a sac of oil that's under the skin, much deeper than an ordinary pimple, which is why you can't just pop it like a normal pimple...because there's no way for the oil to come out. I had a friend once who had these all the time, he was on a certain medication for them. I don't know the name, but I suggest if you don't like the needle method, go to your doctor and ask for a medicine that treats cystic acne. Btw...most birth control (if that's what you're on) meds don't cure acne, in fact they don't really do anything they say except prevent pregnancy. Only with some people will they experience the full effects of the meds.Boil-like spots?
