I'm going abroad soon for two weeks, and i was thinking of going foundation free for all that time, cause i cant wear foundation if im wearing suncream. I'm worried though- will it make my spots worse? Cause suncreams really greasy and won't it just feed the spots?Does Suncream cause spots??
I've always found that it makes my spots worse....but perhaps I'm a bit over zealous with the application of it! A lot of foundations these days have a built in SPF (Sun Protection Factor). They typically seem to be around the SPF 12-15 range, but I expect if you pay more you can get higher ratings. This way you stay looking good, don't burn and hopefully don't get any spottier!Does Suncream cause spots??
u can get grease free or reduced grease suncream
and there is also foundation which has SPF in it but its not very high its usually about 15SPF
and i think there is also tinted suncream that might help...
=D
I use Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock, SPF 45.
I use it everyday and it is not greasy and it won't clogg your pores.
I react badly to 'white' sunscreen, even the sensitive stuff. It brings me out in a rash.
Nivea, L'Oreal, and Malibu all now do a completely clear spray-on sunscreen in factor 25, 15, 10 and lower. I used the 15 in the UK and the 25 abroad with no rashes and it protects well.
Go to a big boots or superdrug for them.
try the baby brands, they are gentle, and normally will not cause an allergic reaction, do agree sun is great for clearing spots, as is the right diet..
hope you have a great holiday
No but if you don't use it you could get skin cancer!!!
Why dont you get the special face suncreams which are specially made so they dont go greasy! The sun should be great for your skin if you have spots as it will dry them out ... so get a special face one ... you even get foundations that have SPF in them ... not that you want to wear foundation to the beach!!! i reconmend a big sun hat and a specially formulated suncream for ur face!
Happy holiday x
Use the spray types instead. They are less greasy and absorb in the skin.
The sun is good for clearing spots.
make sure it says oil-free and non-comodenic or w/e and it shuold not cause pimples..
you can get oil free ones i think. and anyway, you can't not wear sunscreen cos that will damage your skin more in the long run
I get spots using suncream coz its so greasy!
