Tooth paste for spots??

i heard that it works for spots ,pimples and all that....Well the thing is, i tried it yesterday and it hurst like crazy,so after 2 minutes i had to take the tooth paste off... so im just wondering if you can only use some kind of tooth paste for spots... ohh by the way i used colgate (the white one)Tooth paste for spots??

I think it can help if you put a little on a pimple for half an hour and then wash it off,don't put it on open pimples/sores though as it looks like it will sting if you do! wait till the pimple is closed.
I don't know I think they all work so long as they aren't gel... but I don't know it always works for me never hurts but then I have to moisturize it cause it dries out the skin as well as the pimple or whatever it is
no i dont belive in using toothpaste ';SUDOCREAM'; is brill it really is i no loads of people who use it and it work wonders....just get a bit on a cotton bud and rub it on dont rub it in though let it sit on the spot.....put it on when your going to bed.....then if your @ home in the day time not going anywere stick it on...its great it also takes the red out of the spot i no someone who had a spot the other day and put sudocream on and the next day it was almost gone!! amazzzzzzing from star :) p.s its only like 2.50 for a small pot and 4.00 for a big pot you can get it in chemists
