It sounds like it is a pimple that is under the skin. Do not try to pop it. You will get it infected and make it look worse. Some usually come to the surface to be popped or it may just go away. do not keep irritating it. Use an acne fighting lotion or gel. If it doesn't hurt or anything and it isn't terribly noticable, I wouldn't try to break it. It's just under your skin, and it looks a lot worse after you do it, gets all read and irritated.
Use a good cleanser, and wait. Breaking a pimple is a really bad idea, and you really should just wait for it to go away on it's own.

It could be a melanoma. You have those removed with a knife by a dermatologist. They send it off to see if it is cancer.
its really no big deal I had one and i thought it was a zit. It never went away, had little to no feeling, and was the color of my skin. They cut it out and you can't see it was ever there.
it could also be a simple under grounder and you need to leave it alone for a while and let it take its course.
